San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay (illness) is expected to return on Friday versus the New York Knicks.
Gay is also expected to play in the second half of the back-to-back set versus the Portland Trail Blazers. Jakob Poeltl has started the past two games in place of Gay.
