Kyrie Irving drops 31-point triple-double in Celtics' victory
Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving scored 31 points (11-of-28 field goals, 8-of-9 free throws) with 10 rebounds, 12 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 3-pointer, and 2 turnovers in 37.6 minutes of a 126-120 win over the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.
It was the second triple-double of Irving's career and the first 30-point trip-dub by a Celtics player since Rajon Rondo in 2012. The minutes were also the most Irving logged over the past eight games. Boston hosts the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
