Iman Shumpert to rest for Rockets Tuesday in front end of back-to-back
Houston Rockets guard/forward Iman Shumpert (rest) will not play on Tuesday versus the Atlanta Hawks.
What It Means:
Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni plans to "systematically rest" players over the final few weeks of the regular season, so Shumpert will sit out the first half of this back-to-back set. He's expected to return on Wednesday versus the Memphis Grizzlies. Austin Rivers and Danuel House should see more run with Shumpert out.
Shump is averaging 17.6 FanDuel points in 53 games this season between the Rockets and Sacramento Kings.
