Knicks' Dennis Smith Jr. (back) likely out until at least March 28
New York Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. (sore lower back) is expected to miss at least the next 3 games.
Knicks head coach David Fizdale insinuated Smith would be re-evaluated next week, which would rule him out for games on Friday and Sunday, in addition to Wednesday's contest. Smith's next opportunity to play is looking like next Thursday versus the Toronto Raptors. He's already missed the past three games, which has led to starts for Emmanuel Mudiay.
DSJ is averaging 26.7 FanDuel points per game this season. In 17 games with the Knicks, he's recording 14.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 triples per contest.
