Ben Simmons triple-doubles as 76ers even series
Philadelphia 76ers forward Ben Simmons scored 18 points (8-of-12 field goals, 2-of-4 free throws) with 10 rebounds, 12 assists, 2 steals, and 3 turnovers in 29.8 minutes of a 145-123 Game 2 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday.
Simmons bounced back from a poor Game 1 showing and it appeared to be infectious, as the 76ers turned in a 34-point first quarter and then poured in 51 in the third. The series now shifts to Brooklyn for Games 3 and 4 on Thursday and Saturday with things evened up.
Simmons scored 51.0 FanDuel points in the victory.
