Grizzlies' Jonas Valanciunas to decline player option, per report
Memphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas will reportedly decline the player option on his contract worth $17.6 million for the 2019-20 season in order to hit free agency this summer.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Valanciunas intends to try to negotiate a new deal with Memphis, who acquired his services from Toronto in a midseason trade.
He averaged 15.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 22.3 minutes per game this season.
