Warriors expect Klay Thompson (knee) to miss 9-10 months
Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson (knee) is expected to miss as many as 9-10 months, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
Thompson tore his ACL during Game 6 of the NBA Finals and is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. While Warriors owner Joe Lacob said he does not know what they will do with Thompson, he added that "I’ve said for a long time I want Klay to be a Warrior for life, and so this doesn’t change anything as far as I’m concerned.”
Thompson averaged 21.5 points and 34.0 minutes per game in 2018/19.
