J.J. Hickson

Nuggets allegedly looking to deal J.J. Hickson

Denver Nuggets forward/center J.J. Hickson is reportedly being actively shopped by the team.

What It Means:

He has become a superfluous asset to the Nuggets with Kenneth Faried, Darrell Arthur, Jusuf Nurkic, Joffrey Lauvergne and Nikola Jokic all on the roster, so a trade makes sense. However, it's unlikely he's anything more than a backup wherever he may land, so don't take this as a reason to stash Hickson.

Hickson has appeared in 18 games this season, logging 16.8 minutes per contest, which are the fewest since his rookie season. He is averaging 7.6 points and 4.8 rebounds on 50.5 percent shooting from the field. His -0.6 nERD ranks 87th.
