Nick Calathes signs with Panathinaikos in Greece
Former Memphis Grizzlies point guard Nick Calathes has signed a three-year deal with Panathinaikos in Greece.
What It Means:
Calathes posted a subpar -1.1 nERD last season while averaging only 4.2 points and 2.5 assists with the Grizzlies. He found playing time when Mike Conley was injured during the playoffs, but Calathes was pegged as the third point guard on the depth chart last season. He played with Panathinaikos from 2009 to 2011.
