Austin Rivers (sore left ankle) out Friday, Clippers down to nine

Los Angeles Clippers shooting guard Austin Rivers (sore left ankle) will not play on Friday versus the Utah Jazz.

What It Means:

The Clippers are only going to have nine active players tonight, so we can expect to see a lot of Pablo Prigioni, Jamal Crawford and C.J. Wilcox in the backcourt. The Clippers are locked into the No. 4 seed and will be cautious with Rivers, so he belongs on the wire in most leagues. Crawford is worth a long look in DFS tonight. Rivers is targeting Sunday's game versus the Dallas Mavericks for his return.

Rivers is just inside the top-100 with a -2.2 nERD on the year, while Crawford is outside with a -2.9 nERD. We project Crawford to put up 18.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.8 3-pointers tonight against the Jazz.
