Keita Bates-Diop lands with Nets in three-team trade
The Brooklyn Nets acquired forward Keita Bates-Diop from the Phoenix Suns on Thursday as part of a three-team deal that included the Memphis Grizzlies.
Yuta Watanabe and Chimezie Metu were traded to the Grizzlies in the deal, while David Roddy and Royce O'Neale were sent to the Suns. The Nets also acquired Jordan Goodwin and then released him. Bates-Diop will compete for minutes off the bench in Brooklyn, but it remains to be seen if he will be available for Saturday's game against the San Antonio Spurs.
KBD averaged 11.8 FanDuel points in 15.3 minutes across 39 games for the Suns this season, with 4.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 0.5 three-pointers. numberFire's models project him for 11.6 minutes and 9.9 FanDuel points on Saturday if he plays.
