JaVale McGee to re-sign with the Golden State Warriors
Golden State Warriors center JaVale McGee has agreed to re-sign with the team, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.com.
The Warriors keep another piece from their 2017 championship team for the title defense in 2018. McGee played productive minutes as a rim protector during the playoffs and will likely fill the same role he had last year, backing up Zaza Pachulia for the Dubs.
McGee averaged 6.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks in 9.6 minutes per game last season. He posted a 4.6 nERD rating, ranking him 46th out of 486 NBA players in 2016-17.
