Clippers' Danilo Gallinari fractured thumb in EuroBasket scuffle
Los Angeles Clippers forward Danilo Gallinari suffered a fractured right hand after punching an opponent during a friendly EuroBasket contest on Sunday.
Although initial reports suggested a five-week absence, the LA Times is now reporting a three-to-four week timetable. There should be no concern about Gallinari's availability for training camp.
Gallinari's 6.1 nERD ranked 29th in the NBA in 2016-17, as he averaged 18.2 points per game on 44.7% shooting from the field and 38.9% from three.
