76ers starting Jerryd Bayless against the Wizards
Philadelphia 76ers point guard Jerryd Bayless will start the Sixers' season-opener against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
This doesn't come as much of a surprise after head coach Brett Brown announced that first-overall pick Markelle Fultz (shoulder) would start the season coming off the bench due to his limited preseason playing time. Bayless will start alongside J.J. Redick, Ben Simmons, Robert Covington and Joel Embiid.
numberFire's models project Bayless for 9.1 points, 4.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds -- good for 19.8 FanDuel points -- in 26.4 minutes of action tonight. That makes him one of our top point-per-dollar value today while he's priced all the way down at $3,000.
