Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scores 20 points for Lakers in debut
Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 20 points on 7-of-11 field goal attempts and 2-of-4 3-pointers with 2 rebounds, 1 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block over 31 minutes in Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
KCP also went 4-for-4 at the free throw line in his Lakers debut after missing the first two games due to suspension. The efficient shooting night was a welcome sign for someone who has hit only 40.6 percent for his career. We'll see if he can keep it up for a home date with the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
Caldwell-Pope finished with 30.9 FanDuel points on Sunday. Over the remainder of the season, numberFire's models project him for 15.7 points, 2.1 3-pointers, 3.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals in 32.4 minutes per game.
