Michael Kidd-Gilchrist makes 8-of-11 shots, scores 21 as Hornets defeat Wizards
Charlotte Hornets small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 21 points (8-of-11 field goals, 5-of-6 free throws) with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals in 23.0 minutes of Wednesday's 133-109 win over the Washington Wizards.
Kidd-Gilchrist didn't play his normal allotment of minutes due to the lopsided score, but he still managed to top 20 points for just the second time this season. The effort didn't go unnoticed by Hornets head coach Steve Clifford, who praised the 24-year-old for "playing so well on both sides of the ball," as well as "efficiently and intelligently on offense."
MKG scored 37.8 FanDuel points on Wednesday, compared to his average of 21.4 FanDuel points per game this season.
