Kings' first-rounder Harry Giles (knee) will not play this season
Sacramento Kings rookie forward/center Harry Giles (knee) has been ruled out for the 2017-2018 season.
The 20th overall pick from this year's draft, Giles tore his left ACL in 2013 and right ACL in 2015 while in high school, and this month makes two years since the most recent procedure, which is a benchmark used to evaluate the health and strength in his knee. He's reportedly "healthy" and has avoided any setbacks but the Kings are choosing to hold him out until Summer League.
Giles averaged 11.5 minutes in 26 games (six starts) as a freshman at Duke.
