Mavericks' J.J. Barea (groin) practices without setbacks on Thursday
Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle said point guard J.J. Barea practiced "without incident" on Thursday, reports Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News.
Barea is hopeful to play on Saturday, but Carlisle wasn't making any guarantees as to his status against the Portland Trail Blazers. He should still be considered questionable to play. Yogi Ferrell, Devin Harris and Dennis Smith could see a decrease in minutes upon his return to the floor.
Averaging 24.4 FanDuel points per game this season, Barea is projected for 24.8 FD points versus the Blazers. Be sure to confirm he's active before placing him in your lineup.
