Suns' Marquese Chriss (hip) may require second MRI

Phoenix Suns forward/center Marquese Chriss has said that he may get a second MRI on his hip.

What It Means:

This injury has sidelined Chriss since January 7, and he has already been ruled out for Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets. A potential second MRI isn't a good sign that he'll be back in the near future, so look for Dragan Bender to continue to start in his place.

Chriss is averaging 7.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks in 21.2 minutes peer game this season. His .485 effective field goal percentage is a drop from the .506 he posted in his 2016-17 rookie campaign.
