Blake Griffin to start in Pistons' debut Thursday night

Detroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin will start in his team debut, reports ESPN's Nick Friedell.

What It Means:

This news comes straight from head coach Stan Van Gundy. It will be interesting to see how he handles the rotations after saying that he would like to stagger the minutes of Griffin and center Andre Drummond. With Griffin starting, Anthony Tolliver will see fewer minutes off the bench tonight.

In a matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies, Griffin is projected for 34.8 minutes and 40.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $8,700 on Thursday's slate.
