Greg Monroe expected to debut for Celtics on Thursday versus Wizards
Boston Celtics forward/center Greg Monroe is expected to make his team debut on Thursday versus the Washington Wizards.
Monroe is expected to meet the Celtics in D.C. and finalize his contract with the team in time to play in tonight's matchup. His arrival will likely take minutes away from Aron Baynes and Marcus Morris but it remains to be seen what sort of role Monroe will have in Boston's rotation.
Monroe averaged 21.6 FanDuel points across 25 games (14 starts) with the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns before signing with the Celtics. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 9.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
