Lakers' Larry Nance headed to Cleveland in multi-player trade
The Los Angeles Lakers have traded Larry Nance to the Cleveland Cavaliers, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Nance and Jordan Clarkson are headed to Cleveland for Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye and the Cavs' first-round pick. With Frye gone, Nance will be asked to play some center with Tristan Thompson. Kevin Love (hand) is expected to be out for up to two months, which will leave opportunity for Nance to soak up minutes at both spots down low.
Over 22 minutes per game, Nance is averaging 8.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. His 3.5 nERD led the Lakers through 53 games this season.
