Dirk Nowitzki sitting out Sunday as Mavericks play Rockets
Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki (ankle), and guards Wesley Matthews (back) and J.J. Barea (rest) will not play on Sunday against the Houston Rockets.
The Mavs are coming off a back-to-back, so they will sit out three of their veterans. With Nowitzki and Matthews out, Harrison Barnes will be very busy, while Dwight Powell, Yogi Ferrell and Dennis Smith will also see more shots tonight.
Nowitzki is averaging 24.0 FanDuel points per game this season.
