Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) won't return for Heat until after All-Star break
Miami Heat center Kelly Olynyk (left shoulder strain) will not play on Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors or Wednesday versus the Philadelphia 76ers.
What It Means:
Olynyk has missed the past two games and he will stay in Miami to rehab before the team heads into the All-Star break. There's no guarantee he'll be ready to return when the Heat open the second half of the season against the New Orleans Pelicans next Friday (February 23). Bam Adebayo should continue to benefit while Justise Winslow and James Johnson also see additional minutes.
Olynyk is averaging 22.6 FanDuel points in 54 games (21 starts) this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 13.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game.
