LaMarcus Aldridge (knee) will sit out Monday and Tuesday for Spurs
San Antonio Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge (sore right knee) will miss Monday's game against the Utah Jazz and Tuesday's game versus the Denver Nuggets.
This means Aldridge will be out until after the All Star Break, so it kind of looks like a strategic move from the Spurs to get Aldridge some extended rest. With no word on when Kawhi Leonard may be ready to play again, the Spurs need to keep Aldridge fresh going down the stretch. Look for Pau Gasol and Davis Bertans to take on bigger roles on Monday and Tuesday.
Aldridge is averaging 39.1 FanDuel points per game this season.
