OG Anunoby (ankle) may be held out again for Raptors on Tuesday
Toronto Raptors small forward OG Anunoby (right ankle sprain) may sit out against the Miami Heat on Tuesday as a precaution.
Anunoby sprained his ankle in Sunday's victory over the Charlotte Hornets and is still experiencing some soreness. Raptors head coach Dwane Casey said the 20-year-old rookie would play if it were a playoff game, so they're more or less erring on the side of caution heading into the All-Star break, meaning he may also be held out on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls. If he sits, C.J. Miles and Norm Powell should both see an uptick in minutes.
Anunoby is averaging 12.5 FanDuel points in 55 games (43 starts) for the Raptors this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.2 3-pointers per game.
