Celtics' Marcus Smart (hand) won't play Wednesday, 'trending positively' toward return
Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart won't play on Wednesday, but he is "trending positively" toward a return after the All-Star break, reports Scott Souza of MetroWest Daily News.
Shane Larkin (knee) is in the same situation as Smart. Terry Rozer has soaked up all the backup point minutes with Kyrie Irving getting even more run than normal. Even when he does return, Smart could see a decrease in minutes with Rozier playing so well of late. The Celtics' first game after the break is on February 23rd.
Through 46 games, Smart is averaging 24.1 FanDuel points over 30.3 minutes per game.
