Lonzo Ball (knee) out for Lakers until after All-Star break
Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball will not return until after the All-Star break.
Ball has been ruled out for the Lakers' upcoming back-to-back set, on Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans and Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, meaning he won't return to action at least until next Friday, February 23, against the Dallas Mavericks. Isaiah Thomas and Josh Hart should continue to pick up extra minutes in the meantime.
Ball averaged 33.7 FanDuel points in 36 games prior to injury. Once he returns, numberFire's models project him to record 13.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.8 3-pointers per game.
