Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis undergoes successful knee surgery, out the next 10 months
New York Knicks forward/center kristaps Porzingis underwent successful knee surgery on his ACL and is expected to miss at least the next 10 months, per Ian Begley of ESPN.
That timeline leaves Porzingis back on the court around Thanksgiving at the earliest. The Knicks could also take it slow with the big man keeping him out the rest of 2018. Porzingis has youth on his side though as he won't turn 23 until August.
Porzingis finished the 2017-18 campaign with 22.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game.
