Report: Raptors eyeing Arron Afflalo if bought out by Magic
According to TSN Sports' Josh Lewenberg, the Toronto Raptors could be interested in Orlando Magic forward Arron Afflalo if he were bought out by the team.
What It Means:
The buyout market is expected to "heat up" in the next 10 days. The Raptors have an open roster spot and are in search of a player to fill out down the stretch. They've said that they wouldn't bring on Vince Carter at this time, but Affalo's got ties to Masai Ujiri. The 32-year-old will become a free agent after his contract expires at the end of the season.
Through 43 games, Afflalo is averaging 3.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game.
