Jerian Grant out of Bulls' rotation at point guard

According to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson, Chicago Bulls point guard Jerian Grant will not be in the team's rotation going forward this season.

What It Means:

On Tuesday, Vice President John Paxson made it clear that the Bulls would be playing their younger players over the second half. That includes the 23-year-old Cameron Payne getting the backup point guard minutes over the 25-year-old Grant. Barring an injury, he'll remain the team's third point guard behind Payne and Kris Dunn.

In 57 games (26 starts), Grant has put up averages of 8.5 points, 5.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds over 23.6 minutes per night.
