Wojnarowski: Celtics' Kyrie Irving (knee) to miss rest of the regular season and playoffs
Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving (knee) will miss the rest of the regular season and postseason, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Irving's initial timetable following knee surgery indicated he would be out 3-6 weeks, which left the door open for a return in the playoffs. It looks like that won't be the case anymore, and with the injuries mounting for the Celtics, and it's fair to wonder how far they'll be able to go without their star player. Terry Rozier will continue to be a focal point of the team moving forward.
Irving averaged 37.8 FanDuel points per game this season.
