Moe Harkless (knee) will not play in Game 1 for Portland
Portland Trail Blazers forward Moe Harkless (knee) will not play in Game 1 of the playoff series with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Harkless was given a three-week timeline for recovery from knee surgery back in late March. He remains on track for a return possibly later in the series with New Orleans. Evan Turner will stay in the starting lineup with Harkless out.
Harkless averaged 9.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals over 25.7 minutes per game in his last 17 appearances, all starts.
