J.J. Redick expresses interest in returning to Sixers

Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard J.J. Redick has expressed his interest in returning to the team next season.

What It Means:

Redick suggested that the two sides have a mutual appreciation, so he could certainly see himself back in Philadelphia. He said, "I don't want to offend any of the other places I have been, or teams I have been on but this was probably my favorite year of my career. Playing in Philly is it's own experience and our fans, the city, the buzz about sports and about this team was amazing." He was second on the team in scoring, but if he goes elsewhere in free agency Markelle Fultz and Timothe Luwawu would have a clear path to more minutes.

In 10 playoff games, Redick averaged 18.2 points on 44.4% shooting, including 2.6 threes on 34.7% from three.
