Toronto Raptors fire head coach Dwane Casey after seven seasons
The Toronto Raptors have fired head coach Dwane Casey, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Casey spent 7 season as the Raptors' head coach, taking over after they only managed a 22-60 record in the 2010-11 season. He led the team to the playoffs in five consecutive seasons, which included their first ever Eastern Conference Finals appearance in 2015-16, and a franchise-best 59-win season this year. Casey is the only head coach in Raptors history to have won at least half of his games, going 320-238.
