Dwane Casey reportedly named Pistons' next head coach
The Detroit Pistons have agreed on a five-year deal with Dwane Casey to make him the team's next head coach, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Casey, the NBA's reigning Coach of the Year, led the Toronto Raptors to a franchise-best 59-21 record this past season but was fired following a second-round sweep. His new deal will keep him in Detroit through the 2022-2023 campaign.
The Pistons finished 18th in numberFire's NBA Team Power Rankings last season. Toronto was 2nd.
