Woj: Warriors, Steve Kerr finalizing contract extension
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Golden State Warriors and head coach Steve Kerr are finalizing a contract extension that would make him one of the highest-paid coaches in the NBA.
Kerr just completed his fourth year of a five-year, $25 million deal, but given the team's success he's due for a nice pay bump. In four years, he's led the team to three NBA titles and four Finals appearances. He was also named Coach of the Year back in 2015-16.
Under Kerr, the Warriors are 265-63 in the regular season and 16-5 in the playoffs.
