J.J. Redick signs one-year contract to stay in Philadelphia
The Philadelphia 76ers have re-signed guard J.J. Redick to a one-year contract worth between $12 and $13 million according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Several teams were probably eyeing Redick off of his huge first year in Philly. However, it looks like Redick will return on another one-year deal once league business can become official later this week. Redick will almost surely remain the starting two guard for the Sixers next season.
Redick averaged 17.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game in 2017-18. He owned a .569 effective field goal percentage, and his nERD of 5.7 ranked 36th among all players last season.
