Nerlens Noel agrees to a two-year deal with Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder and free agent forward/center Nerlens Noel have agreed to a two-year deal, per Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

What It Means:

The deal is a one-year contract with a player option for year two, allowing Noel to try and rebuild his value after a disastrous season with the Dallas Mavericks. With Steven Adams entrenched as the THunder's starting center, Noel will likely see no more than 20 minutes per night as his backup.

Noel averaged 4.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 0.7 blocks in 15.8 minutes per game with Dallas in 2017-18.
