Derrick Favors staying in Utah after agreeing to two-year, $36M deal

The Utah Jazz and forward Derrick Favors have agreed to a two-year, $36M deal, per Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.

What It Means:

Favors flirted with a few other teams but was never expected to leave Salt Lake this summer. He will remain the Jazz starting power forward but could see fewer minutes with Jae Crowder steal some court time.

Favors averaged 12.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 28.0 minutes per game in 2017-18.
