Dante Exum re-signs with Utah on 3-year deal
Utah Jazz guard Dante Exum has agreed to re-sign with the team on a three-year, $33M deal.
On the surface, the contract amount seems high for someone who has missed 166 games the last four years, but the Jazz appear to be betting that Exum stays healthy and continues providing top-notch defense while developing an offensive game at the point for years to come. He will remain the Jazz top backup to Ricky Rubio next season.
Exum averaged 8.1 points and 3.1 assists in 16.8 minutes per game last season.
