Jayson Tatum, Duke Blue Devils

From a senior to a freshman, it's plain to see that great college basketball players come in all shapes and sizes. Speaking of size, Jayson Tatum's 6'8" frame is that of an elite NBA player, and his game has reflected that so far.

Duke's star freshman has improved with each week of the regular season, capping it off with averages of 22.0 points (on 55.4% shooting), 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals in Duke's ACC Tournament victory. For the entire season, Tatum averaged 16.9 points on 45.3% from the field and a player efficiency rating (PER) of 22.2.

It sure looks like he's peaking at the right time, too. As a likely one-and-done candidate, the youngster will be looking to impress NBA scouts while also leaving behind a short, but lasting legacy with Blue Devils nation. He, Coach K and company will start off their quest for a title Friday night against the 15-seeded Troy Trojans in the East region.
