March Madness Betting Guide: Elite Eight, Sunday

The East Region final pairs two of college basketball's elite programs. Who will advance to the Final Four when Duke tangles with Michigan State?

While the early slate of games on Friday provided runaway victories for Michigan State and Auburn, we were treated to two high-tension finishes in the late games.

Duke's season once again came down to one possession at the buzzer -- this time with Virginia Tech opting to go for the tie on their second chance with fewer than five seconds. But the Hokies' effort came up short, and the Blue Devils moved on. Kentucky was taken to the wire and even trailed Houston by three with less than a minute to go before some late game Herro-ics (could not resist the overused pun) fueled a 7-0 game-ending run for UK to propel the Wildcats to the Elite Eight.

With North Carolina's exit Friday night, we are treated to only three quarters of our potential blue blood Sunday -- although Auburn does wear navy, so they are not completely out of place. For our viewing pleasure, we are set up with one classic college basketball matchup and an SEC showdown to decide the last two teams in the Final Four.

Using our models as a guide, here are our best bets for Sunday.
