Austin Wiley eligible to play for Auburn on Saturday

Auburn Tigers recruit Austin Wiley has enrolled into school early and will be eligible to play on Saturday versus the Mercer Bears, according to Jeff Borzello of ESPN.

What It Means:

Wiley was the 17th ranked recruit in the Class of 2017, but after enrolling early for classes, he has been declared eligible to play for the Tigers. A huge signing in the first place, Auburn now gets at least one-and-a-half years of playing time from the 6'9" big man. The 252nd ranked rebounding team in the nation, out of 351, Auburn could benefit from the bonus playing time of their young big man.

The Tigers are our 55th best team in the nation based on nERD rating. We give them a 5.5 percent chance of making the NCAA Tournament but if Wiley is as good as he is projected to be, that number will most definitely rise.
