Mike Watkins double-doubles in Penn State win
Penn State Nittany Lions freshman forward Mike Watkins posted his third double-double of the season in Sunday's 92-76 win over the St. John's Red Storm.
What It Means:
Watkins scored 15 points on 6-for-10 shooting from the field and grabbed 13 rebounds for his second consecutive double-double. The freshman also had four assists, three blocks, and one steal in 32 minutes of action.
Watkins is leading the Nittany Lions in rebounding and field goal percentage with 8.4 boards per game and a .562 shooting percentage.
