Utah's Kyle Kuzma could play Sunday versus Colorado

Utah Utes senior forward Kyle Kuzma is nearing his return from an ankle sprain and could play as soon as Sunday versus the Colorado Buffaloes, according to Kyle Goon of the Salt Lake Tribune.

What It Means:

Kuzma injured his ankle last Thursday but has already shed his walking boot. He remains questionable to return Sunday after missing nearly three whole games with the injury. How much he practices this week will help determine his availability. As the Utes enter conference play, the addition of Kuzma would be a big lift to the team. The senior leads Utah with 10.2 rebounds and is third with 14.4 points per game.

Utah is 5-3 in their last eight games after starting the season 4-0. The experience of Kuzma will help the team's 4.7% chance of making the NCAA Tournament.
