Jaron Blossomgame drops 24 points as Clemson falls just short
Clemson Tigers senior forward Jaron Blossomgame scored a team-high 24 points in an 89-86 overtime loss to the North Carolina Tar Heels on Tuesday.
What It Means:
The senior did all he could to help the Tigers snap an eight-game losing streak to UNC as he went 9-for-14 from the floor. Blossomgame also had seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks. While he is leading Clemson with 17.6 points per game, and shooting 49.2% from the floor, Blossomgame has struggled mightily from beyond the arc as he has made 7-of-43 attempts for a dismal 16.3% on three-pointers.
Blossomgame owns a .555 true shooting percentage, his worst mark since his freshman season in Death Valley.
