L.J. Peak scores 20 points as Georgetown routs Creighton
Georgetown Hoyas junior guard L.J. Peak scored 20 points with 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block in Wednesday's 71-51 win over the Creighton Bluejays.
Peak went 8-for-15 from the floor as he sank two threes for his second 20-point outing in four games. The Hoyas second-leading scorer -- 16.0 points per game -- needs to stay hot if they are going to knock off ranked opponents in two straight games as they play the Butler Bulldogs on Saturday.
The junior was coming off a miserable shooting performance versus the Xavier Musketeers where he went 3-for-12 from the floor and missed six of his three-point shots. He is shooting only 33.3 percent from three this year.
