NC State Wolfpacks freshman guard Dennis Smith Jr. scored a game-high 27 points with 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 1 block in Wednesday's loss to the North Carolina Tar Heels.
What It Means:
Smith was 8-for-15 from the floor with three 3-pointers as he scored 20 or more points for the 12th time this season. Wednesday was also the fifth consecutive game he shot 50 percent or better from the field.
