Jordan Matthews nails clutch three in Gonzaga victory
Gonzaga Bulldogs senior guard Jordan Mathews scored 13 points with 3 rebounds and 3 three-pointers in Thursday's 61-58 win over the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Matthews was 3-for-8 from three but nailed the ultimate winning shot with less than a minute left and the Bulldogs down by one point. He was in foul trouble all night but managed to tie for team lead in points scored.
Matthews is averaging 14.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 3.0 three-pointers in three NCAA Tournament games.
